I became social media friends with the author three years ago I believe. Her gift as a writer and her openness and encouragement is what I was drawn too. Her posts were always so uplifting and truly AUTHENTIC. I too remember the Gorgeous Inside challenge she did a couple of years ago. It was AMAZING to see how many women would leave an encouragement post on a sticky note on all kinds of mirrors. Her faith and love for God is outright contagious! I say all of that to say, all of these things you feel and learn from her book. She is open and truthful about her past. She admits the shame she's once had. She talks about the challenges she faced with walk for Christ; regardless of all she's endured, it's her love and relationship with Him that have remained the focused point. She wanted to give up but she didn't! She gives hope to every single woman, no matter their background. God can and will use anybody for His glory that is submissive. This book blessed me and I'm positive it will bless ANY woman, no matter where they are in lif.Product details

I have never read a book with so much love and devotion for anyone who picks it up. It streams on every page. That love from Paloma Freeman in every word, that love that we have from the Lord.
We live in a society that's built on numbing the pain and this exposes those harsh realities with truth.
There is something to be said about having lost hope, and finding it with the strength and glory of oneself. With God as your cheerleader.
The life a person had or has does not bind us to a petulant future !
This book is a testament that must be shared! The love that I'm finding for myself with the Lords love and my own is thanks to reading this amazing way to live. We all need to be exposed to more of this truth. I'm thankful and blessed to have been able to purchase this. It really opens ones eyes.

This is a personal testimony of a woman who has been through pain and abuse and used her faith to overcome the obstacles in her path. The devil is whispering in our ears that we are worthless and hopeless, that we can't be used. But God created us beautiful. He loves us and longs to show us the gorgeous parts of us inside. If we will just listen to His loving voice, we can begin the healing journey.
It took great courage to share such a tragic, but ultimately beautiful story. The author wrote from a place of personal pain with the hopes of helping someone else deal with what she went through. Her message is full of hope, redemption, and steps towards healing. This isn't just a testimony, it's a detailed look at how the author used scripture to heal and become the woman that God created her to be. This is a small book, but I think will be very impactful for those who have been in a place of hurt and are looking for a change. I liked how the author inspired change and positive thinking in addition to all of the faith based solutions. I would recommend this for small groups or personal study.

The second I got this book in my hands, I knew something was going to both be confirmed and shifted at the same time. For the past few weeks I have received some interesting birthday gifts. None of what I needed or asked for. It felt like no one knew me enough to even think to ask me what I wanted. But Paloma... When I say, "But Paloma," I mean that God by His Infinite Wisdom landed her book right in my hands. I've come to know the author through the power of social media and subsequently in phone calls and she is as consistent and transparent as her book is. I'm not writing a fancy review to "woo you" or "wow you" into making your lives better as women thereby empowering other women a better way than has been done in the past. As she has written so eloquently from her heart-so will I (attempt to do her book review justice) The first thing that struck me about it was that there was no forward from another person. No one to "vouch for" her or the book's credibility. No one to co-sign on the simplistic yet profound way in which she has delivered this message to those who will read it and grow from it. That spoke volumes to me about her character and the content. It made me want to read it through the eyes of who wrote it-Paloma Herself with God as her Preface and Her Guide. This book is a page turner. I could not put it down. I can't classify it either. By that I mean I can't tell you if it's "Self-Help" or "Christian" or "Mindfulness." She speaks to every corner of a woman's soul. I remember when she started the "Gorgeous Inside Challenge." It was before embracing your authentic self became the rage among the popular to trickle down to us regular people. I thought to myself "She is on to something here."
It was not until I continued reading that I was aware of the author's struggles never made public before that I realized where that came from. Within 15 minutes, I was crying my eyeballs out and I felt as though she was writing this book just for me. Happy Birthday Natasha! That's how she made me feel. Once I reached the chapter on birthing your dreams--I unloaded my selfish moment and shared what I could with others. This book is RAW. It is RELEVANT. It is REVOLUTIONARY. Woven into the tapestry of each page I can hear the ancient teachings of so many authors but this is distinctly "Paloma's Pen!"
I'm not sure if you are a parent, a high school or college student or perhaps a well-known PhD. Maybe you are thinking that you've read every possible book on being gorgeous from the inside out. Maybe you wrote a book for women yourself. If the latter two are the case, this book is your refreshment for all that you've poured out before you embark on your next level of greatness.
Warning Be Prepared to Be Stripped Stark Naked Upon Reading. Get some tissues, try not to throw it as many times as I did and alert your friends and family that you may not be as available as you once were. Read this away from the noise and the chaos. Allow all that the author has shared in this rare body of work to saturate your every fiber. You have a future and it starts inside. The pages of Paloma--Peruvian-American with a pen so accurate that to deny that she's told the truth would be to negate that this magnificent jewel hasn't had a Master gemologist at work in her. She was cut so that we could shine!
My admiration level for her journey has increased and I didn't think that was possible. Gorgeous Inside is not photoshopped and for that, we are all grateful. If you are in your 20's or 60's with even a hint of society on you--get this book. Come out of the closet of social media approval and crawl into these pages! Someone you are attached to depends on it.
From Dealing to Healing--Paloma debunks every myth associated with faking it until you make it. The only person you need to keep up with is yourself. Do you want to be made whole? I did.
